just finished my exams yesterday, still tired.. haha..

Now, looking for job.. Want to go Sg but seems the chance is very low in the near future. Anyway, I’ll try my luck going to SG tomolo night to search for job and buy clothes at the same time.

16 Dec i’ll be back and most probably will join NS… eww.. botak.. haha.. then end of Feb i’ll be back in KL. My results will be put on 16 Feb.. This time very scary as I didnt do well in exams.  What abt you all?

Accounting can be done by computer? Erm, there is a misconception here..

Book keeping can be done by computer, this is true but it is only a small part of accounting.

Financial reporting requires great amounts of professional judgements which cannot be taken over by computers. So don’t worry, Sze Yee.

Is true that the name “Accountant” is not that hot compared to “Doctor”, “engineer” and “Lawyer” but this is old perception. Tony fernandes is an accountant by profession. and many CEO are previously accountants. The role of accountant cannot be undermined in today’s environment.

Hey guys! I went to EY interview yesterday afternoon.. There were two rounds, the first was with its HR senior. She went through my application form and asked me alot.. Then, I went for second round, this time with EY HR Director.

I was quite surprised as she asked about my eldest sister. My sister was in the firm for about four years but she has already left 9 mths ago. She has good memory.

The interview was more like a chit chat session. Talked about what I am doing, what’s my plan.  She asked me whether did I apply for any other firms. I told her the fact I apply to PwC as well.  She actually talked more about EY, gave me a rough idea how my career path can be. Told me what are my opportunities in EY..  

And, the best part is, she said she would want to offer me a job..  Very happy..

I think afterall, I learn alot. I realise the importance of communicating confidently and also brand myself into a person, who is a well rounder.. It’s not whether you are really an all rounder but rather how you persuade the interviewer that you are an all rounder..  

The great thing is I’m offered a job!

Well, I have edited the setting of this site. I made it more private for us to blog more freely.. HEHE.. I found out that there were some unknown people reading our blog so it may not be that good.. HEHE..

I think most probably I’ll work in KL for the time being. I am shorlisted by PwC for further assessment on 18. Wish me good lucks ya!! hehe..

I received $$$ prize, trophies and certificate. I did not expect to go all the way to champion as we actually registered on the the closing date itself. Thanks to my team, who actually displayed great team work!

This is my last semester already. Well, I have started to apply for jobs. I plan to go to Singapore next year. However, I’m kind of bad lucks as Sg economy is in the midst of recession. I have applied to PwC but they responded that there is no opening currently. So, I have to wait.. wait and wait. Other firms did not reply. I missed a call from EY but till now, they have not called me yet. hai~

Jeffrey, SS, and others coming to KL in december right? I am looking forward to see you guys here. I’ll stay in KL till 26 or 27 Dec. So still can celebrate Xmas together right.. hehe.. CYA!

I’m having ulcers for three days alredi.. can’t eat, talk and smile much.. how i got it? I ordered a roti kaya few days ago, i thought was cool alredi so i took a piece n the “hot” kaya came out and burn my mouth.. WARNING!! so next time becareful guys!

I know the occupations listed out are your ambition but it would wise to think from the aspects of personal safety, job opportunities in this region.. Next time you would have family, so better choose a job where u have more time at home.. Doctor and pharmacist would be a good choice, (next time can get dicount from you) hehehe… But cost alot o..

About me these days.. A lot things happened.. academically.. i had progress tests recently, managed to pass two papers only.. mock is coming in two weeks’ time have to buck up de.. I got a free san francisco drinks redemption card from my lecturer.. she was so “da fan”, my friends n i helped her to count marks, we got free drinks   

I’m counting the days i can still stay in college.. less than 7 mths de if i can pass all papers.. is it a good news? dont think so.. Sometimes i think i’m too young to work, not mature enough.. sometimes i would dream of myself in overseas studying a degree course, making great friends while studying.. this is not plausible..

Actually, i’m facing a big problem in my life.. dont dare to share at this moment.. I hope i can overcome it soon I thank some of my friends who actually support me at this moment, especially one great friend who helped me out although he doesnt knoe my problem. he reminds me of the time in high school when i have you guys as my support If not of you guys, I can imagine of the entire school life of no fun.

Looking forward for the day when we all can meet and have a day-long outing

Hey, just want to update you guys what i’m doing now. I’m still studying in the same college.. Getting tougher this sem, so have to work doubly hard. nevertheless, i also plan to enjoy life this sem, trying to go out more often at the same time do well in studies.. how? more efficiency in time management..
